What Changed?
On May 5th, 2026, Twitch removed the clause banning "randomized video chat services" from its Community Guidelines. Omoggle streams are now officially permitted.
Why Was It Previously Banned?
The original policy protected streamers from accidental TOS violations — a random opponent could show anything. The rapid growth of Omoggle, driven by clips from xQc and Clavicular, made enforcement impractical.
What Are the New Rules?
The blanket ban is removed, but streamers are still responsible for TOS-violating content from opponents. End the session immediately if anything inappropriate appears.
