What is the PSL Scale?
The PSL Scale — standing for Physical, Status, Looks — is a 1–10 rating system used in looksmaxxing communities to objectively score facial attractiveness based on measurable physical features. Omoggle uses an AI-adapted version of this scale as its backbone scoring system.
Unlike purely subjective attractiveness ratings, the PSL Scale focuses on specific biometric markers: facial symmetry, canthal tilt, jawline definition, cheekbone height, and overall facial harmony.
PSL Score Breakdown: Every Tier Explained
Score 1–3: Below Average to Submasculine
Scores in this range indicate significant facial asymmetry, a weak jawline, negative canthal tilt, or poor facial proportions. On Omoggle, these scores are rare for real faces — they typically appear when lighting is extremely poor, the camera angle is severely unflattering, or the AI is confused by a non-standard image. The Omoggle tier for this range is Sub3 and Molecule.
Score 4–5: Low to Mid Tier Normie
The most common range. LTN (Low Tier Normie) spans 4.0–4.9 and MTN (Mid Tier Normie) spans 5.0–5.9. Most people fall here — average facial features, decent symmetry, nothing particularly outstanding or weak. This is a perfectly normal score and a strong foundation for looksmaxxing.
Score 6–7: High Tier Normie to Chadlite
HTN (6.0–6.9) represents clearly above-average facial features — good symmetry, a defined jawline, and neutral-to-positive canthal tilt. Chadlite (7.0–7.9) is genuinely rare and typically involves strong positive canthal tilt, a sharp jawline, and high facial harmony. On Omoggle's leaderboard, Chadlite is currently the highest populated tier.
Score 8–10: Chad and Slayer
Chad (8.0–8.9) and Slayer (9.0+) are theoretical upper bounds. As of May 2026, the highest-ranked player on Omoggle's global leaderboard sits at approximately 3,210 ELO — still in Chadlite. No confirmed Chad or Slayer tier player exists. These tiers represent near-ideal facial geometry that is essentially unachievable without extremely favorable genetics.
How Omoggle Uses the PSL Scale
Omoggle's AI scans six facial metrics and maps each to the PSL Scale, then produces a weighted composite score. The system is notoriously sensitive to camera angle, lighting, and distance from the camera — which is why our guide on how to win Omoggle focuses heavily on setup optimization.
